Summer School
In Jezikač we have organized excellent and high-quality holidays (summer school) for children in cooperation with Racman golf akademijo and Horse riding center at farm Košir for the seventeenth time. It bring as many as 20 school hours of foreign language weekly (Slovene language upon request) , high-quality programmes of golf, horse-riding, tennis and typing, taking place in small groups of 3 to 6 students in groups. We provide all the necessary sports equipment. There is lunch at noon in an excellent local restaurant Košir, which includes soup, salad and the main course with a drink. During lunch break children can relax on a beautiful playground with a trampoline, tree house and a playground for football and basketball.

THE ATHLETETennis course
- 20 school hours of English or German language weekly,
- a 10-hour tennis course,
- rent of tennis racket,
- other sports activities in accordance with the possibilities offered by the tennis courts Šentvid High School (football, basketball, volleyball, hockey),
- friendly and high-quality teachers and tennis trainers,
- lunch,
- literature for the language course.
Tennis course will be held under the guidance of a tennis instructor. Students will learn the basic rules of the game and their behaviour on the pitch, basic tennis strokes, develop motor skills and gain basic skills of the game of tennis. Students will work in groups of 4 to 6 students. For participation in the course students need sports shoes, a T-shirt, shorts or a skirt. Tennis racket can be borrowed for free.
The course takes place at Šentvid High School tennis courts (entrance through the tunnel under the highway, a few meters from the Libraries in Šentvid on Prušnikova 106).
THE ATHLETEGolf course

- rental of golf and exercise balls,

Golf courses are organized by Racman golf akademija under the expert guidance of a golf instructor. Children learn the basics of the golf swing, golf rules, behaviour on the golf course and learn about golf equipment. Through various games children capture the elements of short and long games and compete in many smaller competitions. Golf courses end with competition on tailored shortened field, providing great entertainment and an unforgettable event for children.
During the exercise children need light sports clothing, sports shoes and a bottle of water. Golf equipment and exercise balls are provided for free.
The course takes place at Golf centru Stanežiče, 1210 Ljubljana-Šentvid.
PROGRAM ŠPORTNIKRiding lessons

- 5-hour riding lessons,
- friendly and high-quality teachers and riding trainers,
- lunch,
- literature for the language course.
Riding is organized by the farm Košir at the Horse riding center under the guidance of experienced trainers. The center has a long tradition, it has been engaged in the riding school for more than 20 years. Participants do not need any prior knowledge, all they need are trousers, girls can have “tights” and a riding helmet (suitable is even an ordinary bicycle helmet). All the participants have a lot of fun and joy by riding and working with horses.
The course takes place at Horse riding center at farm Košir, Spodnje Gameljne 62 a, Spodnje Gameljne.
THE ARTISTTyping course
- 20 school hours of English or German language weekly,
- a 15-hour typing course,
- friendly and high-quality teachers,
- lunch,
- literature for the language course,
- laptop rent.
Typing course is suitable for primary school children from 10 years of age on. Typing skills will be trained with the help of an Internet application . They start with the correct positioning of the fingers on the keyboard, continue with learning about the letters, numerals and symbols, and then escalate the speed and accuracy. The aim of the course is to blindly type on speed of 25 words per minute with maximum precision. Laptop is desirable, but not necessary. At the beginning of the course, each participant receives a username and password for access to an internet application, which can then be used in their free time and after completion of the course to boost their skill.
The course takes place in Jezikač.
THE SUMMER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Daily timetable
- 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. arrival of children in Jezikač, school of foreign languages (if the selected programme is ARTIST), tennis courts Šentvid High School (Programme athletes – tennis), Racman Golf Academy (the athletes – golf) or Horse riding center at Farm Košir (the athletes – riding),
- 8:00 – 11:00 morning programme (sporting or artistic activities),
- 11:30 – 12:30 lunch,
- 12:45 – 14:15 language course,
- 14:15 – 14:30 break,
- 14.30 – 16:00 language course,
- 16:00 – 16:30 departure of children from Jezikač.
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Age groups
Distribution of age groups will be carried out on the basis of prior knowledge and age of the children. Our young students are divided into three age groups when it comes to learning a foreign language:
For all children who are not students of our school, we will perform a free oral placement test, before they are placed in an appropriate group.
For Slovene language the course can be in individual form, in pairs or in the group up to 8 children’s (if there are less than 6 kids in the group there is extra charge for the language course).
